Shubman Gill : The Prince fastest to 2000 runs

Shubman Gill : ‘The New Prince of Indian Cricket’ has completed his 2000 runs in One day Internationals. In today’s match against New Zealand in Cricket World Cup 2023 played in Dharamsala, Shubman gill became the fastest batsman in the world to reach the milestone of 2000 runs.

How fast to reach to this record??

He took merely 38 innings to reach here, and also broke the record of Hashim Amla from South Africa who took 40 innings to make 2000 runs. The Indian opener scored 26 runs in todays match against New Zealand. India also won the match to become number 1 team in points table so far till 22  October in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

This opening batsman is in an undisputed form. He has has also scored a mammoth 1300+ runs in the calendar year 2023,  making him the highest run getter in 2023 so far in ODIs.
